This Dynamics CRM solution has helped Erie County efficiently provide important services to its citizens.
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded assistance program for heat and electricity, furnace repair, and cooling assistance. Erie County was in need of a software application to help automate their manual and labor-intensive paper process. They were also looking for a system to provide approval workflows based on information to determine customer eligibility.
Aeon Nexus worked with Erie County to provide application development services to build a Dynamics CRM solution to support the Erie County HEAP and Homeless and Emergency Service benefits process. Aeon worked to identify workflows, processes, forms, worksheets, and business rules for managing state mandated benefits. Development efforts included workflows for processing HEAP and Homeless and Emergency Services applications via phone calls, in person visits, and other avenues available to the general public. A case management process tracked customer inception to case close out.
The outcome of this project was deemed extremely successful by the client and was delivered on time and on budget. Project Management tasks were heavily emphasized as our team was under an extreme deadline to have the system up and running before the inclement weather season.
